Year 6-7 Transition Project

The Primary Inclusion Team have secured funding to deliver a Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Project working in collaboration with secondary schools.

The scope of the project will support current year 6 children that have either been referred to Primary Inclusion Team whilst they have attended Primary School, or are currently attending Alder Brook PRU.

The support will be for the duration of their first year in high school in order to help schools to manage their SEMH needs and reduce exclusions for this highly vulnerable cohort.

Adrienne Lee joined our team in January 2020 to lead on the project. Adrienne has over 20 years teaching in secondary schools, including leading transition in partnership with Primary Schools.
